I'm curious,

If I need to, how can I find out what my username and password are for my tentacle site?

Can they be changed?! Can I add other users!?

thx

Currently the user password is very basic and does NOT include any of the fancy bells and whistles like password retrieval, or password changing or adding another user.

The only way to change it right now, is to remove the entry in the MYSQL table "tentacle_users".

Easiest way to do that, using phpmyadmin, just navigate to that aforementioned table and drop the one entry in it.

Along the same vein, if you want to add a user, you can add it in that table. You just need to know the hash to the password you want.

yeah, you don't. That's the idea.

In the current build of tentacle, if you want more than one user, you'll have to do it manually. Drop the entry that is in the users table, but not before you copy that data elsewhere. And run tentacle again. Since the table is missing, it will prompt you to create a user. Do so, then copy the one you removed before...now you have multiple users.

In coming versions of tentacle, there will be an easier way to add another user.
